*The intersection of Mt Nebo and Lower River Rd is again an all way stop.
*The entrance to Cleves' Kroger, Gold Star, Block Buster, Subway, Great Clips, and other stores from Ohio Route 128 will be blocked by underground utility work starting on Monday the 14th. Temporary access will be provided from US 50. Watch out for stopped traffic on US 50 near SR 128 in unusual places. |

The Cleves Police Department has set up an undercover drug bust operation that lead to the arrests of 73 suspects. Dealers came from Hamilton, Warren, Butler, and Clermont counties but found their illegal careers ended abruptly when they hit the Village of Cleves.
The Cleves Police Department has worked hard to keep our streets clean and to sweep up messes as they develop. Their skills have spilled over into other areas, as our men in blue lured heroine dealers into the Cleves area for drug sales, and then arrested them.
On October 14th, their hard work was recognized when they were given an award at the City Hall for their success.

Cleves Drive Thru, the convenient drive-thru located at 18 S Miami Ave, is under new management. James Pessler bought the establishment just several months ago. James offers low prices on popular party supplies, including kegs. Call 941-8549 for more information.
James will be remodeling the building and the grounds in the near future.
In an interesting twist, the former owner has recently bought The Round Table, the restaurant right next door to Cleves Drive Thru. |

 This Wednesday, over a hundred trucks, floats, bikes, and cars drove down the center of Miami Ave. for the 2009 Gavelrama Parade. Hundreds of residential families and visitors lined up on either side of the street as paraders beeped horns, revved engines, and threw out candy for the kids.
The parade was led by Taylor High School's marching band, who did an excellent job playing America The Beautiful, as seen in this video. You can see more pictures of the parade here. |
