Electricity and Natural Gas Aggregation Programs

In November 2012 the residents of the Village authorized the Village Council to implement aggregation programs for electricity and natural gas. The purpose of the aggregation programs is to provide a choice and to lower cost obtained by consolidating the consumption of all residents and small businesses. A secondary benefit is to minimize the potential of fraud, which frequently occurs when individual residents act on their own.

Recycling Containers

The Village of Cleves now has a second recycling container located at the Waterworks building at 92 E. Cleves Avenue. The first recycling container is located at the Cleves Maintenance building at 695 N. Miami Ave. These containers are available for FREE for residents to use for recycling.

Be idle-free and turn off your vehicle while you unload. Thank you for recycling.

Garbage Collection Reminders

To help Rumpke as they collect garbage throughout the village, we would like to share some reminders.

  1. Carpets and rugs need to be cut into 3 foot to 4 foot sections and placed to the curb.
  2. Couches and mattresses need to be wrapped in a plastic covering.
  3. Garbage cans are to be placed to the curb no earlier than 3pm the day before collection and must be taken in by midnight on the day of collection.
